Hi, my name is Julie, and I specialise in helping individuals over 40 transform their metabolic health and go from feeling unhealthy and fed up to vibrant, happy and energetic. 💫

Poor metabolic health can wreak havoc on your life, leaving you in an endless cycle of energy crashes, fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, and relentless cravings. It can also lead to a myriad of physical health issues and an increased risk of chronic diseases that seem impossible to overcome.

Up-to-date science, however, tells us that it is entirely possible to address and transform your health and the way you feel.  Your diet and lifestyle can address the real root cause of your symptoms and safeguard your future from further illness.

Maybe you have a test result indicating a problem, have received a diagnosis, or just want to feel better about your diet and health. We will meet you where you are, and together, help you address the root causes of your health issues, optimise your nutritional status, and support your body's natural ability to heal and thrive through personalised nutrition and lifestyle interventions.

What is optimal Metabolic Health

Optimal Metabolic Health is characterised by the efficient regulation of blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivity, lipid (fat) metabolism, and overall energy balance. It involves maintaining appropriate levels of key markers such as blood glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, and insulin.

When someone has good metabolic health, their body can effectively convert food into energy, regulate appetite and weight, support organ function, and maintain stable levels of blood sugar and other metabolic parameters. You will have a sense of vitality, energy, and overall well-being!

 

Poor metabolic health, on the other hand, means energy production becomes inefficient, leaving you feeling tired and drained. You may struggle with cravings, weight gain, brain fog and hormonal havoc. It can lead to insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
